Rain, Wind and a Little Sunshine – SF Bay 5/4

My wife Jen and I met our crew Bob and Ron in Alameda for the first trip of the year on Flyline. Boat ran great all day. So no problems there. We launched the boat and motored down the estuary. We decided we would start at AWR. Motoring down the channel the weather was not to bad, light wind and a little sprinkle. Once we came to the end of the Estuary and made the left turn to the RW the weather turned to shit. Windy, rainy and choppy. Every boat in the fleet must have been there as well. We stuck it out for one small hali and a big bat ray. We headed over to do a little shark fishing in the afternoon. Once we got to the bay bridge the Sun peaked out and the clouds broke up. It turned into a decent afternoon and everyone got a shot a fish.
