Sturgeon fishing is good.? The fish are piled up.? My book is wide open. If you can fish during the week I can take you. It all starts in Pittsburg.? We have been spending the outgoing tides around the PGE plant and the incoming tide at Chain Isl. . . . ? This is an ever changing environment. Fish you caught today may not be in the same place tomorrow.? Looking for and finding fish is key and getting them to bite is equally important.? We have been pretty successful at both. ? This week we caught limits both Thursday and Friday, with a few oversized fish each day. Its sturgeon fishing and the fish are not easy to catch.? Expect hours of small bites and shaker action with a few hours at peak flood when the fish seem vulnerable to what I’m offering.
